Architectural Technician

Swindon

Permanent - Pay Negotiable According to Experience and Qualifications

We are looking to recruit an experienced and talented Architectural/CAD Technician based in our Swindon office.

You will have excellent technical ability and time management skills. You will be working primarily for the Architectural team on the technical aspects of architecture but will also assist in the production of illustration proposals for planning documents. The work will be varied at and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Production of detailed design drawings for planning applications, presentations for public exhibitions, and project designs
  • Production of detailed construction and building regulation drawings
  • Carrying out site feasibility studies
  • Production of access statements
  • Liaising with planning and technical managers
  • Attend team meetings, site visits, and meetings with other consultants/contractors

You will be highly proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign and have a working knowledge of BIM and Revit. You will be motivated, precise and passionate about how buildings are put together and will be given a high degree of responsibility at an early stage.

Graduate Planner/Surveyor

Swindon

Permanent - Pay Negotiable According to Experience and Qualifications

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, ambitious graduate planner/surveyor based in our Swindon office.

Current Projects include a wide range of schemes for major developer clients, local authorities as well as private clients. The work is varied and includes urban extensions, renewable energy projects, residential, educational, leisure, commercial and mixed use development schemes.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing town planning consultancy services
  • Working on exciting projects with a view to meeting agreed client requirements requirements and deadlines.
  • Attending meetings with clients/local planning authorities and other stakeholders as a representative of the client.
  • Attending site visits and carry out site appraisals
  • Provision of professional advice (in writing and verbally) directly to clients in consultation with Project Director
  • To communicate effectively with client contacts and external bodies in respect of project working as required
