We are looking for an experienced senior town planner for our office based in Derby. Working in a small, friendly and supportive environment and reporting directly to the Planning Director, you will be responsible for assisting with and delivering a wide variety of planning solutions including the preparation of planning applications, appeal submissions, and development plan representations.
You should have good all-round general planning knowledge, gained in either the private or public sectors, as you will be expected to work in many areas including residential, strategic land, mixed-use schemes and renewable energy on behalf of a varied private and public sector client base. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also important as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines is also required.
Applicants must possess an accredited planning degree and ideally be a full member of the RTPI. However, applications will be considered by those still working towards this accreditation.

Chartered Town Planners
We are looking for experienced and qualified Chartered Town Planners for our Swindon office to work as part of our multidisciplinary team. We are looking to fill posts at both mid-career and Associate/Director levels, depending upon experience.
You should ideally have some experience in the private sector but we will also consider applications from candidates currently employed in the public sector provided they can demonstrate a positive and commercial approach.
We are currently instructed in respect of a range of projects including town expansion, regeneration, sport, heritage and major housing and commercial/mixed use schemes.
