DPDS was responsible for the architectural design of the restoration of Grade II listed cottages and new 2 bedroom bungalow in the Keevil Conservation area.

The original large rear garden area offered the opportunity to develop an additional new dwelling and in order to respect the low rise modern bungalows adjacent the plot, DPDS designed a modern part monopitch/part flat roof bungalow to a very high standard of insulation featuring air sourced heat pump technology, underfloor heating, powder-coated aluminum double glazed windows and open plan interior. The monopitch section featured high level windows to the main living area. The council’s Conservation officer commented that “this is a clever design which allows light into the central partition of the dwelling with the high level windows”
