The Greater Nottingham Local Authorities (Broxtowe Borough, Erewash Borough, Gedling Borough, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe Borough Councils) have issued a Call for Strategic Sites in order to inform the review of the Aligned Local Plan Core Strategies, which will cover the period from 2018 to 2038.

As part of the process of reviewing and revising the Core Strategies, the Councils will be assessing the suitability for development of potential Strategic Sites within their administrative areas. Strategic Sites are considered to be sites or clusters of sites which have the potential to deliver in excess of 250 dwellings and which are located either within or adjacent to the main built-up area of Nottingham, within or adjacent to other settlements or in stand-alone locations (i.e. the site would, if developed, form a new settlement).

The Call for Strategic Sites consultation will run until the 29th July 2019.

The Call for Strategic Sites presents the opportunity for any land to be submitted to the Greater Nottingham Local Authorities to be assessed for their ability to meet the future development needs within the review of the Aligned Core Strategies.

If you have land interests within Broxtowe Borough, Erewash Borough, Gedling Borough, Nottingham City or Ruchscliffe Borough Councils which may be suitable for submission and you wish to discuss this in more detail, you can contact us on 01332 206222.
