Redevelopment of Listed Building, Chippenham
DPDS have secured Listed Building Consent for the redevelopment of a Grade II Listed property. The proposals were for the repair, and where appropriate replacement of the existing windows and doors of the host property. This became necessary following general wear and tear over time.
Our architects produced a detailed conditions survey to accompany the planning application. This revealed the extent of damage to the existing windows and doors, and successfully demonstrated that the majority of the structures required immediate replacement.
The heritage statement in support of the application established that the proposals complied with the relevant local planning policies, preserving the special architectural and historic interest of the building.
